I've decided to go back to Oakland today, returning Thursday. Reasons for this:

- it's the only chance I'll have to go back until mid-September, what with school and all
- I forgot some stuff that I don't really want to have to re-buy duplicates of, like spices (I hate buying expensive supermarket spices), printer, etc
- I have until November to loll around in solitude, since Tom's not moving until then. At least then it'll be solitude broken up by classes and work and stuff.

Yeah. Maybe not the most eco-friendly choice, but there you have it.

Still, they're all very sensible reasons to go. If I had known that it would be so MANY months until Tom moves, I'd have changed my answer. So be sure to do lots of smooching while you're there.

Frown. Sorry i wasn't available to hang out these days; this week has just been awful in terms of free evenings. You can call on me any time, though. I won't always be free, but i'm not the initiating type on the evenings i am.

And lunch! We can eat lunch every day!

That's a strong list of justifications, though. Enjoy your trip up; school will still be here when you get back.
